Hi by T-S

Just replace the command.exe in the respective directories, depending on your system architecture.

To have it working you must replace the MUI as well in the directory matching your language

e.g "\windows\system32\en-US\compact.exe.mui" for US English

If you are on x64 you must do it for the 32bit version as well (\windows\sysWOW64\en-US\compact.exe.mui)

***MUIs are not included!*** Sorry, but i can't collect all of them.

Instead just grab them either from a working W10 installation, from the ISO or WIM, or from a language pack .cab (just use 7zip to do it quickly)

The exe is derived from RTM build (aka build 10240, aka TH1, aka 1507) so you should use the mui from that build as well, but I don't think it's crictical, use the one uou have handy, as a rule of thumb the older, the better.

It should work on any W8.x and win server 2012[r2] installation

Have fun recompressing your files on a live system even if an older one.
